“Jesus answered, ‘I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.’” — John 14:6
Healing often begins in quiet places. For Gersi, one of our Quechua FC goalkeepers, it started with prayer and perseverance after a devastating injury. There were moments he nearly gave up—until his EQ family surrounded him in faith, reminding him that God had not forgotten him.
Months later, Gersi stood again on the field—stronger, smiling, and coaching younger goalies. His story is a living testimony to the power of Christian community.
In Palmeras, children continue to memorize Scripture. In Contamana, young athletes gather to hear God’s Word. Across Peru, lives are being rebuilt—body, soul, and spirit—because the gospel is alive in community.
Reflection:
Healing doesn’t always come instantly. Sometimes it comes through faith lived out daily—on soccer fields, in homes, through friendships. God uses His people to carry His healing power.
Pray With Us:
Pray for those still recovering from illness or hardship. Pray that every Quechua FC academy remains a place of restoration and hope.
