🌱 Reflection 1: A Year Begins in Faith

ree

“I thank my God every time I remember you.” — Philippians 1:3

The year began not with fanfare, but with gratitude. At every one of our eleven Quechua FC academies, children laced up their shoes once again, eager to learn, play, and grow. Coaches returned refreshed after a short rest, ready to pour their hearts into the next generation.

In those early weeks of January, the fields came alive with laughter, prayer, and community. Each kick of the ball became a reminder that ministry often begins with simple acts of faith—showing up, teaching, listening, loving.

Young players who once stood on the sidelines now lead team devotions. Coaches who once felt weary speak of renewed strength. It’s the unmistakable work of the Holy Spirit, turning soccer practice into sacred space.

Reflection:

The start of a new year brings both anticipation and humility. God’s faithfulness doesn’t depend on our plans, it unfolds as we step forward, one prayer, one child, one game at a time.

Pray With Us:

Pray for our coaches as they guide hundreds of children through sport and Scripture. Pray that every player who joins Quechua FC encounters the love of Christ in a tangible way.
